What to pack for trekking?
Please go through this packing check-list carefully. These are essentials for a comfortable trip:
* We do our very best to leave no trace behind and require your help to do so. Please remove your snacks and other products from the original packaging to avoid unnecessary waste. Carry zip lock bags with you to seal and separate any waste you may have on the trek as you may only be able to throw this away at the larger towns and hotels.
RECOMMENDED
- Water-proof or semi-water proof hiking boots.
- Sandals and/or River Shoes (flip-flops and/ or ones suitable for river crossing)
- Long warm pants
- Waterproof pants / Ski Pants
- 2-3 Pairs of thick warm socks
- Rain coat
- Water proof jacket
- Poncho to cover yourself and your day pack from rain. Alternatively a rain cover for your day pack
- Long sleeve thermal underwear. 2 Pairs may be required
- Warm clothes
- Beanie
- Sun Hat that can cover your neck.
- Snow sun glasses
- Gloves 5mm thick, waterproof. (Not ski gloves, they are too bulky)
- Small day bag (the lighter the better for you)
- Max 15 kg travel bag (horses or porters have to carry this) * Porters = 11-12 kg * Horses = 15 kg This should include the weight of your Jacket, Hiking Poles and Snacks.
- Sleeping bag
- Water bottle
- Flash light (head lamp preferable)
- Scarf
- Sunscreen 50 SPF
- Hiking Poles (2 walking sticks )
- Rehydrate (adding this to your drinking water helps your body with oxygen in your blood, which is important for climbing at altitude)
- Medicine you may need (for headaches, muscle pain, nausea, plasters, for bug bites, altitude sickness)
- Bug Spray
- Snacks optional: dried fruit, nuts, energy bars. * Lunch, snacks, and all other meals are provided. Please make sure that if you are bringing snacks with that your bag weight does not exceed the required weight mentioned above. Should your Food Pack exceed the weight requirements kindly make arrangements with us ahead of time.
- Eco Friendly Body Soap, Shampoo and Detergents.
- Biodegradable Toilet Paper, Wet Wipes and any other cleaning material you may require for the trek.
- Solar Charger for your devices.
- Dry Packs for your electronic equipment.

All our tours include a private chef. You will be served three meals every day, plus snacks.

Kindly take note that most of the dishes served may contain Ghee, Cheese or Egg.
Although 90 % of the food on the trek is for a Vegetarian Diet it would be best to provide us with the necessary Vegan Products or suggestions to products to cater for your eating requirements.
